Luuppi ry is the student organization for mathematics, statistical data analysis, and computer science students at the University of Tampere. Since 1969, Luuppi has been actively advocating for its members' interests and organizing leisure activities. It boasts the largest membership among student organizations at the University of Tampere!

ATK-YTR
The joint cooperative cruise of the member organizations of the Information Technology Students' Union, known as the ATK-YTR, will be held on August 3-4.Differing from previous years, the cruise departs from Turku of Finland for a 23 hour maritime adventure, with stops in both Stockholm and Åland. There are no shore excursions during the cruise.The cruise departs from Turku harbor on Saturday at 20:15 and returns to Turku on Sunday at 19:15.The price for the cruise is approximately €65. This includes a cabin accommodation (four person cabins), a buffet dinner, and the official event overall patch. The Academic Kyykkä World Championships, which took over the entire Hervanta campus for one Saturday in February, are a celebration for students. Despite the biting cold this year, which saw around 5000 visitors, the festive spirit of the event remained undiminished. While everyone may have felt the chill throughout the day, the cold didn't seem to dampen the enthusiasm for the (festive) game of kyykkä.
