The move of our degree programs to the Hervanta campus is now taking concrete steps, which also means changes to Luuppi's office hour services and locations. Luuppi will soon have an office at Hervanta campus with the Guilds of Robotics (Robo) and Energy Transition.
New Luuppi Office at the Hervanta Campus
Luuppi will soon have an office on the Hervanta campus, located on the first floor of Festia, in space FA108. This space is shared with the Guilds of Robotics (Robo) and Energy Transition. To reach the space, you should go up one floor from the main lobby of Festia. The space is a generous 70 square meters, which is 20 square meters larger than the current space of the Guild of Information Technology - TiTe!"
The office space is temporary, as the Festia building will be relinquished between 2026 and 2030, according to the Campus Development Strategy and Facilities Programme of the University of Tampere.
Luuppi has not yet received the keys to the space, as the handover is currently delayed by the university's Facilities Management. The space is expected to become available at some point during the orientation week. At least on Monday, August 19th, the office hours will still take place in the lecture hall TB215 in Tietotalo. During orientation week, Luuppi’s office will sell memberships and Luuppi merchandise, as well as take orders for student overalls. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee coffee or other office services for members at this time.
Office Hours and Locations for the Upcoming Weeks
Week 34: Orientation Week Office Hours - August 19th-22nd - only on the Hervanta campus:
- Monday 1 PM - 5 PM in Tietotalo TB215, Hervanta campus
- Tuesday 12 PM - 2 PM (location to be announced)
- Wednesday 12 PM - 4 PM (location to be announced)
- Thursday 12 PM - 4 PM (location to be announced)
Week 35: August 26th-29th - office hours will primarily be on the Hervanta campus during Luuppi’s normal office hours. Any changes will be announced closer to the date.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12 PM - 15 PM in the Festia office FA108.
Starting from Week 36, office hours will tentatively be held at Pii-Klubi, in the city center, until the new Hervanta office is furnished and ready for longer-term use. More detailed schedules and practices will be announced closer to the date. Throughout the autumn, office hours will likely alternate between the new Hervanta organization space and Pii-Klubi.
