Note: The deadline for ordering student overalls have been extended to Sept. 19th, and the deadline for asking a sponsor for overalls to Sept. 22nd.
How to order overalls?
1. Buy a membership at the office. Annual membership is 20€, permanent membership is 30€. Exchange students get a free membership.
2. Try on the overalls. It should be comfortable to move in them, for example try squatting in them. Overalls may also shrink if a lot of patches are sewn onto them, so it's good that the overalls are not skintight. You can try on overalls on until August 29th.
3. Order overalls. This can be done at the Luuppi's office during opening hours. The price of overalls in 2024 is 20€. Overalls can be ordered until September 19th (the deadline has been extended).
4. Wait for the overalls to arrive! The overalls will arrive at Luuppi's Kastajaiset at the beginning of November. The overalls go on general sale 2 months after arrival, so don't forget to get yours!
Interested in free overalls?
Ask a company to be an overall sponsor! Fuksis who successfully sell an advertising spot on the overalls will receive their overalls completely free of charge!
The price for a small ad (approx. 15 cm) is 450€ and for a large ad (approx. 30 cm) is 900€. The company does not have to be computer science or mathematics related, for example Pekka's Carpenters' Workshop Oy Ab will do just fine.

Overall etiquette
- Overalls should only be washed by swimming/showering with the overalls on.
- The patches should be sewn on by hand by you.
- At first try to sew patches somewhere other than on top of ads - Companies pay a lot of money for them
- If you want, you can represent your old place of study by combining your old and new overalls together
- If you wish, you can represent your relationship by exchanging a part of your pant leg with your partner
- The Kaste patch from Kastajaiset should be sewn on the front of the right thigh.
- Sometimes people other than teekkaris wear their overalls completely up
