Wappu Cup 2026

Wappu is approaching, and with it comes Wappu Cup 2026 which is the hottest interdisciplinary football tournament in Tampere. We’re now putting together our own team to compete for the biggest trophy of the spring.

The tournament will be played on Monday, April 20th, 2026 at Kauppi Football Stadium from 11:00 to 17:00. Matches are played in 6v6 teams (5 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper), with up to four substitutes allowed, so the goal is to gather a squad of 10 players. The tournament is mixed-gender with one overall series, and every team is guaranteed at least three 20-minute group stage matches. The best teams advance to the playoffs, and the top three teams as well as the top scorer of the tournament will be awarded.

The participation fee is €10 per player, which includes both the tournament participation and an afterparty ticket. Remember to give your telegram username with the purchase.
