Alcohol is a central part of the event, for example as part of the programme. You can also participate in the event without alcohol.
Tickets
Note! Due to the nature and timing of this event, these sitsit are intended for 2nd year luuppis members and above, up to and including alumni. Therefore, these sitsit are not meant for freshers starting in autumn 2026, for whom we want to ensure their first sitsit experience at the Freshers' Sitsit coming in September! The event will be held in Finnish.
Relations between east and west are getting intense. Cold War is dividing the world in half. Polarization is running rampant. Which side of the Iron Curtain will you end up on? Come find out how to sing and party during these hard times at Luuppis and DDRNVs sitsit!
3 drinks, main and dessert included in ticket.
Dress code: Theme-appropriate attire and/or student overalls.
During registration, you may request to be seated on either the East or West side, or indicate that you have no preference. Seating assignments will be confirmed by email after registration closes. The organizers reserve the right to make changes.

Propaganda Poster Contest
Bring a self-made propaganda poster (minimum A4 size) and enter the contest! You may also email your poster to santeri.jatyri@luuppi.fi by the evening before the event. The best entries will be rewarded.
