Forest Trip

Luuppi's traditional forest trip is back! 🌲

Looking for a break from campus life and a chance to enjoy the autumn outdoors? This year, our forest trip takes us to Kintulammi in Tampere, where we'll be staying at Kortejärvi Lodge. During the day, we'll head out together to explore the beautiful scenery of Kintulammi, and in the evening, it's time to relax with a sauna, board games, and some laid-back hanging out in good company. Luuppi will provide sausages for the campfire, with a vegan option available as well, so grab your outdoor gear and join us for a relaxing autumn adventure!

Accommodation:

Kortejärvi Lodge accommodates up to 10 people, with sofa beds for six in the main roaom and bunk beds for four in a separate bedroom. Mattresses, blankets, and pillows are provided, but please bring your own bed linen or a sleeping bag and pillowcase. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, drinking water, and heated toilet facilities. There is also a wood-heated sauna, a barbecue shelter, and a rowing boat available for guests. The lodge is located right by the Kintulammi hiking and nature reserve, making it easy to head out and explore the surrounding trails and scenery.

Every participant is responsible for their own meals, so please bring your own food. Please keep in mind that the main purpose of this trip is not to drink alcohol, but you are welcome to bring an optional sauna beverage.

Tent accommodation also possible for much cheaper, if interested contact the organizer!

Transportation

Departure will be from the Hervanta campus parking lot on Saturday, October 10th at approximately 09:00 (departure time can be negotiated if necessary). We will return to Hervanta no later than Sunday, October 11th at 15:00. Please arrive on time.

After arriving, we will take a walk in the beautiful nature of Kintulammi. We will spend the evening in the sauna, playing board games, or just relaxing and hanging out. Luuppi will sponsor some sausages.

What to bring?

• Overnight gear (sleeping bag + pillowcase, or bed sheets. Sleeping outdoors is also allowed)

• Food

• Personal medication

• Weatherproof clothing and shoes suitable for the terrain

• A flashlight (in case we move around in the dark)

• Sauna and swimming gear

• Board games

• Something fun to bring joy to the trip?
