Foreign Excursion 2026 – Tallinn 🇪🇪

Luuppi's legendary foreign excursion is back! In April, the excursion bus will head south and we will sail across the Gulf of Finland to our beloved southern neighbor, Estonia!

The excursion program will be finalized later, but it will include activities like:

• visits to local technology companies
• collaboration with local students
• cultural exploration
• ...and, of course, partying!

The ticket for the excursion costs €95 (for Loimu members €84) and includes transportation from Tampere to Tallinn and back, two nights' accommodation at the destination, and an overall badge. Note that meals and transportation within Tallinn during the excursion must be paid for yourself.

Loimu offers its members €11 in support for participation! More information about the practicalities related to this support will be provided later.

The accommodation is at the Monk's Bunk hostel in the center of Tallinn's old town, about a 20-minute walk from the port. The hostel has shared rooms for ten, eight, or six people, equipped with bunk beds and bed linens. The accommodation also has showers and a small kitchen.

What should you bring with you?

• a valid passport or photo ID (a driver's license is not enough!)
• hygiene supplies (including your own towel)
• a change of clothes
• a padlock and key if you want to store your belongings in the accommodation cupboards
• some excu pöhinä

Registration for the excursion begins on Wednesday, February 18, at 12:00 p.m. and ends on Tuesday, March 3, at 11:59 p.m. There are 50 places available for the excursion.
