Pii-Klubi (Yliopistonkatu 58B)
Lärpäke points available for freshmen!
You can drink alcohol if you wish, but drinking is not the main point of the event. You can also participate in the event without alcohol.
Note that the presentation part of the event will be held in Finnish. Please, also keep in mind that applying to board and officer positions requires proficiency in Finnish.
What does the board do? What does "vice-chair" mean? Can you survive a year on the board with your sanity intact?
What does the term "officer" mean? What are all the things you can do in Luuppi? How do you skip the line at Kolmiot?
If you are excited about joining next year's board or have thought about joining Luuppi's operations, you will find answers to these and many other questions at the board and officer info session. At the event, members of the current board will present the tasks involved in their respective areas of responsibility and the qualities that are beneficial for these roles. You will also learn how board positions differ from other official roles within these areas. You will also learn about the general benefits and responsibilities of serving as a "hato". Furthermore, the event will showcase lower-threshold opportunities to get involved in Luuppi’s activities—so it’s well worth attending, even if you aren’t already prepared to submit a board application.
After the main program, there will be plenty of food and drinks available, as well as the opportunity to take a sauna, so bring your own towel and drinks!
The board application period officially opens after the info at midnight!
The event will follow Luuppi's equality plan and safe space principles, which can be found here in Finnish.
