What ATK-YTP?

ATK-YTP, literally translated to “Automatic information processing - co-operation days”, is a two day event that gathers IT-students from 7 university cities together. This year the event is organized in Jyväskylä by Linkki, Dumppi and Ynnä. The event is held mostly in Finnish but participating in English is encouraged!

Both main days start with seminars where companies give presentations (mostly in Finnish) at the Agora-building. After the seminars participants get to experience Jyväskylä by going around the city to checkpoints where local students and companies have prepared fun group tasks to complete. Teams will get points on how well the task is completed. After completing the checkpoints participants can catch their breath in a preparty right in the middle of Jyväskylä. The winners of the checkpoint-competition are announced at the preparties. The days end in afterparties with artists.

Participants from the other cities can sleep in a school accommodation (specific place will be announced at a later date), so it is recommended to have equipment to sleep on the floor for two days.

Enrollment

The enrollment starts on October 1st at 12.00 and ends on October 8th at 23.59. The price of the ticket is 27€. There is only a limited amount of tickets on sale including the transportation (56). ! If you missed your chance of getting a ticket with transportation, you can get in a queue for possible cancellation spots (tg: neongelic) !

Bus transportation

The bus will leave Tampere-hall at 6 AM (participants should be present at 5:45 am the latest!!), so that we will reach Jyväskylä by around 8-9 AM. The bus will take the participants straight to the accommodation (at Yliopistonkatu 1). There will be some entertainment in the bus provided by our very own MC.

The accommodation closes at 10 am on friday, after which we will start the journey back to Tampere.

There will be one stop on both trips.
