You can drink alcohol if you wish, but drinking is not the main point of the event. You can also participate in the event without alcohol.

Feeling down after the Christmas party is over? Don’t worry—there’s still more celebration to come - selcome to the "sillis" (herring breakfast) on Novemer 30th at Pii-Klubi! Registration opens at the same time as Christmas Party's on October 30th at 12:00.
The Christmas party and sillis go hand-in-hand, and of course, you have to attend both as sillis is famously the grand finale. The dress code is nice and relaxed: it’s encouraged (and even expected!) to wear your overalls.
At sillis, you’ll enjoy breakfast, food, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There will also be light entertainment and the sauna will of course be warm. More detailed program information will be published closer to the event.
The event will follow Luuppi's Equality and Safer Space principles, which can be found here in Finnish.
