Kastajaiset and Kolmio ticket

What is Kastajaiset? Well, we need to make the freshmen luuppians! During Kaste event, freshmen put on their overalls for the first time and complete tasks in groups, after which we move to Pii-Klubi for the award ceremony and continue the evening at Kolmio.

Kastajaiset takes place in groups, which are drawn and announced on-site. The event is free and intended only for Luuppi's freshmen.

Please let us know during registration if you will be arriving late and whether it’s okay for you to be in an English-speaking team. We want to ensure a pleasant initiation for everyone :)

Here’s some information to help you prepare for Kastajaiset:

Overalls will be distributed at Pii-Klubi from 12:00 to 15:45, and the starting point is at the amphitheater in front of Pinni B.

Dress warmly and according to the weather, as you'll be enjoying the fresh November air. Note that jeans may not be the most comfortable choice under the overalls.

Pii Klubi opens at 19:00 and will be open until 23:00.

You can bring your own refreshments and snacks, but please note that you cannot consume your own drinks or food in licensed areas.

The most important thing is to arrive with an open and cheerful mindset! The initiation is one of the most memorable events of student life for many, and we hope it will be for you too!

The evening culminates at Kolmiot.

If for any reason you cannot attend the Kaste event, you can collect your overalls from Pii-klubi after the event during office hours (Mon - Thu 12-15).

Despite the name of the event, you do not need to get wet (unless it rains).

The event is intended only for Luuppi's freshmen. You can also purchase a Kolmio ticket for 6€, which will be available at Pii-Klubi on the event day during the award ceremony. Kolmio tickets can be purchased until 5.11. at 23:59. Free registration is open until 19.11. at 23:59.
